Every month we pick the cream of the county’s volunteering opportunities.
Would you like to sit on the board of a local charity?
The role of Trustee remains a bit of a mystery and many of us are unaware that charities are crying out for smart, insightful people to direct their success.
This is one of the most important roles in the voluntary sector and is an amazing way to develop your leadership Learn more about becoming a Trustee or see our featured opportunity below.
The Organisation: Mind the Gap
Mind The Gap Bucks is a self-help group based in Chesham that provides platforms for social and activity groups for anyone who is feeling unable to cope or is lonely. Our aim is to give people a sympathetic and non-judgmental environment so that they can get a chance to enjoy life, play sports, make friends and be part of a supportive community which can help them start their journey to recovery.
The Opportunity: Trustee
As Trustee, you will help us build our strategy and set of goals. You will ensure the works and goals are in line with our vision as defined in the constitution. No experience is necessary, if you support our cause and have the enthusiasm to help us build on our success then we want to hear from you! Having links to the local community and an interest in mental health issues would be helpful, but not necessary.
